ERP IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANTFor the further growth of our successful consulting practice we are looking for potentials that can become J.D. Edwards professional. Typical role: • assist the client in translating his needs into JDEdwards, or alternatively provide solutions using JDEdwards functionality. • assist the client in defining an approach for the project start : how to ensure operational continuity : cutover procedures, data migration, data take-on • define a system set-up accordingly, and be hands-on involved on setting it up; testing • translate the solution to technical staff (developers) • assist the customer in validating and testing the new system and propose valid solutions to solve issues • training & coaching of (key-)users Distribution & Logistics Area Definition • Sales Order Processing Management including pricing and availability management, • Processing in a multi site , multi company environment . • Procurement • DRP/MRP/MPS Forecasting • Transportation Management • Inventory Management, Warehouse Management Profile • Either • min. 2-3 years activity in an operational role, best case : operational responsibility in an area • min 3-4 yrs experience as an IT consultant, with exposure to the business: people, processes • interest for IS and project work • preferably package or ERP exposure, e.g. as a key user in an implementation • best case : World or One World • alternative : other packages Overall • multilingual : English and French/Dutch • not only interested in long term client-based assignments • short term assignments abroad are possible • team player • high personal quality standards
JD EDWARDS DEVELOPERJob description As the lead consultant, using established procedures and policies, apply advanced skills and knowledge to provide business and system analysis, translate requirements in to business solutions with the J.D. Edwards applications. Provide support and advanced level training to users of JDE Applications and systems. Defines and provides standard and less routine solutions, conducts system analysis, provides input to systems specifications and recommends improvements/upgrades and equipment changes to JDE applications. Functions as the lead expert in one or more JDE Applications, tools or technology and provides guidance to the customer organisation and other consultants. Monitors progress and may supervise and guide junior level JDE Application personnel on less complex projects. Key Roles Under general supervision, using established procedures and policies applies advanced skills and knowledge of JDE Applications to define application solutions, conduct System Analysis, design, provide input to system specifications, perform site reviews, analyze gaps between business requirements and JDE functionality, documents business processes, provides support and advanced level training to users of JDE Business Applications. - Designs, tests, and implements modifications, interfaces and reports for JDE Applications and consults with users, technology liaisons, application support personnel and programming staff when researching potential solutions.
- Defines location requirements for specific JDE functional areas and performs system set-up, prototype, integrated system's testing, training, "go-live" activities as well as post "go-live" support.
- Function as an expert in one or more of the JDE Applications and is frequently consulted by others for guidance.
- Participates in the development of methods and procedures for implementation and outsourcing projects.
- Fulfill an end-user support role.
- Monitors progress and may supervise and guide junior level JDE consultants on less complex projects.
Profiles - Core Competencies lead industry consultant
- 2+ years JDE OW implementation experience across at least two functional areas, finance, distribution or specific specialisation in e.g. advanced warehousing, transportation, lean manufacturing with at least two full life cycle implementations. Or ...
- Business knowledge and experience (Financials, Sales, Logistics, Manufacturing) with a strong affinity to IT applications and solutions.
- Knowledge of Business Process design and JDE architecture.
- Advanced personal computer and MS Office product skills.

J. D. Edwards development and technical consultant to work within the Application Services team. - The primary focus of the development role is the new development or modifications of JD Edwards applications.
- The role also plays a key part in a number of IT projects, providing technical guidance and support and delivering system changes within the required timescales.
- The primary focus of the technical consultants is the installation, deployment and maintenance of the JD Edwards applications at customer premises and/or in a services center.
- Train own and customer IT staff.
