INTERNATIONAL RISK CONSULTANT

Function description:

He/she will be part of the Business&Decision Risk international team and will be involved in Risk solution implementation projects at various stages : requirements, design, construction, test and acceptance. Those projects cover both technology and business aspects. He/she will be given the opportunity to learn and build up experience in risk management methods and tools, thanks to intensive collaboration between team members. The consultant will be based in a Business&Decision office (ideally Brussels) and will work on mission assignments inside and close to Europe.

Profile:

The successful candidate will have a University degree (mathematics, engineering, economy, information technology) and a minimum 3 years working experience. He/she will have a practical experience in information systems and technology, an excellent analytical capacity, and a good understanding of banking. The candidate will have a very good command of English. A readiness to work abroad 80% of working days is required.

Core competencies requested :

• Experience in Information Technology, ideally Business Intelligence.
• Fluency in one programming language and good notions of Data Modelling.
• Analytical minded, fast learner and relatively autonomous
• Good oral and written communication skills, capacity to adapt to customer needs
• Knowledge of retail banking and/or wholesale banking

Preferred additional knowledge :

• Financial mathematics and/or statistical modeling techniques
• Bank Risk management, ALM, Basel II regulation
• Practical experience with SAS software
